Olivia's first feeding

Olivia is doing great. They were able to take her off the pressurized air and she is able to breath on her own. She was hungry so they called our room and I was able to go and feed her as Natalie is still on Magnesium, so shes not able to get up yet.

Pregnancy Update

I figured I would update everyone on my pregnancy. As most everyone knows, I've been in the hospital a couple times with high blood pressure and other fun stuff. The baby is doing great... in fact, in an ultrasound on Tuesday they said she weighs 6 pounds already, so that is excellent.

My blood pressure has continued to climb, as well as some of my lab results, even after a week of bedrest. At my Dr's appointment today, my dr told us that he doesn't feel comfortable leaving me pregnant for much longer as my health declining will lead to much more serious problems. We don't know when we will have her, but we do know that it will most likely be in the near future.

We are so thankful that she is so healthy and already weighs so much because that will make it so much more likely that she will not have any problems from being born early. We can hardly wait to meet our little girl and will definitely keep our blog updated so that you can meet her also!

Thanks to everyone who has been keeping us in your thoughts and prayers, we really appreciate it!

Omaha Baby Shower

Today I had my Omaha baby shower! I had so much fun... and it was great to see everyone!
Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate with me!
Thank you Ashley, Amy, and Sue for throwing me (and Olivia) a wonderful shower.

28 Weeks... and two days (but who's counting?)

So today I had another ultrasound. Sorry, no pictures. The little stinker was moving so much that there wasn't really a good shot of her. (Although, it probably didn't help that she was full of sugar from the glucose I had to drink an hour earlier for my blood test.)

The good news is that she is doing well. She weighs 3 lbs. now, which the dr. said is in the 70th percentile. I was able to see her heart beating and also her cute little nose. It's always so fun to go in for an ultrasound and to see her wiggling around. We can't wait for her to get here!

Happy Anniversary!!!

Today is our 2nd Anniversary! Friday, at work, Oj sent me some beautiful roses. It was such a surprise, and they smelled and looked so nice! Saturday he took me out to lunch at a nice Italian restaurant. We have had such a great anniversary weekend. The last two years have been the greatest two years of our lives!
We are so excited to have our little family grow in a couple of months! We know that our baby girl will be so much fun and that the experiences we have will make our relationship that much greater. Love you Oj! Thanks for being such a great husband!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I made OJ some peanut butter rice crispies for Valentines Day! He loves peanut butter, so I couldn't go wrong with these. If you want the recipe look below... they were very yummy!

OJ gave me some beautiful pink roses! :) They are so pretty! I was able to put them in the pretty vase that used to be my grandma Clark's. OJ also bought me some more of my favorite perfume, Pink Sugar. Thanks babe... I love you!
