6 months old!

On October 29, Olivia turned 6 months old! She is growing up so fast. It's hard to believe 6 months ago she weighed 4 lbs 14 oz. Now she weighs almost 14 1/2 pounds. She is almost to the point where she can sit up on her own... she just falls over once in a while. We love her so much!

It's an old commercial for Kellogg's OJ cereal. Ironically enough it came out the same year that OJ was born.

Our soon to be house...

Almost 1 month ago we made an offer on a house. Because it was a "short sale" the offer had to be accepted by the seller and the sellers lender. Today we finally got news that the house will be ours! We don't know any details on when exactly we will close, but it will be within the next 30 days. We are SO excited to be moving into this house!

Little weekend trip

We have been exploring some of the cities around Kingman. We went to Lake Havasu, AZ & Laughlin, NV.

On our way to Laughlin we drove through these hills and all of the sudden there were millions of Joshua Tree.

Greetings from Kingman, AZ

So here are some cute pictures of the baby. She is getting big so fast! It's amazing to sit and watch her every day. It seems like she learns to do something new every day. Her new favorite thing to do is sit up or stand up like a big girl. If she's crying we just help her sit up and she stops crying right away. We ordered her a bumbo chair so she can sit up all on her own.

Two weeks ago today we left Nebraska and took a LONG two day trip to Kingman, AZ. We are currently living in a furnished apartment with all of our belongings in storage while we wait on getting a house. We have an offer in on a beautiful house that has been accepted by the seller but, because it's a short sale, we have to wait for her lender to approve the sell. So we are waiting patiently (sort of) and hoping that we get this house and can get out of this apartment.

Oj is loving his new job and I'm enjoying having him home more now.


So Oj got a new set of wrenches in the mail the other day. This one is as big as Olivia.

Aunt Megan has been here in Omaha since Olivia's blessing. It has been so nice to have her help. She'll be here helping until we move to Arizona in August!

Kingman, AZ... here we come!

It's official! We got the official offer in the mail today. Oj got a job at Kingman Airline Services as an Aircraft Mechanic. We're excited to start our next adventure!

Trip to Utah

Olivia and I have been in Utah visiting family. We've had so much fun! We have a couple of pictures to share (we'll add more soon). We were able to get a four generation picture with my mom and grandma. Olivia has had so much fun with her Utah grandma's this past week. Tomorrow night, Olivia and I will be meeting up with Oj in Vegas to head down to AZ for a job interview.

1 Month Old

On May 29th Olivia was one month old. Here are some pictures from May 29th... and a couple from today as well. She has changed so much... we just love to watch her change from day to day!

3 Weeks Old

Olivia went to the Dr's today for her 3 week appointment.
She now weighs 6 pounds 2 ounces and is 19.5 inches long. They said she is in the 3rd percentile for weight and the 20th percentile for height. She now fits in some of her Newborn sized clothes!
We love Olivia so much and are so excited to continue to watch her grow!

Happy Birthday Dawn

As some of you already know, we lost our beautiful sister-in-law, Dawn, to cancer last Thursday. Today would have been Dawn's 33rd birthday. Dawn was an amazing person! She was fun to be around and always willing to help anybody out. Dawn was a great example to us. We will miss having her with us, but know we will see her again someday. We love you Dawn!

We have had Olivia home since Sunday afternoon. We are so thankful that she was healthy enough to make it home so quickly! It has been a blast having her here... although it seems to be going by too fast! Olivia is getting to be more and more alert every day. When I think back to last Thursday, when I held her for the very first time, it amazes me how much she has changed. She is so much smarter already!

On Monday afternoon, my mom and I took Olivia to her first Dr's appointment. She weighed 4 lbs 8 oz. on Monday. The Dr. said that it is very normal for her to have dropped a few ounces and that Olivia is doing great! Here are some pictures from the last few days.
